Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum

Delaware Tech's associate degree in Construction Management Technology prepares the student to use procedures and techniques involved in controlling, coordinating, and managing the construction project processes. Topics include: hierarchy of authority on construction projects, establishment and coordination of field office, inspection responsibilities, keeping documentation: records and reports, construction laws and labor relations, construction safety, meetings and negotiations, pre-construction operations, planning for construction, job site operations, progress payments, materials and workmanship, change orders claims and disputes, and project close-out. Emphasis will be placed on the general construction field. Goldey-Beacom's Bachelor of Science degree program in Business Administration provides students with a flexible approach to acquiring business skills and expertise. This design your own degree approach gives students the opportunity to examine the ways society, culture, and technology intersect in today's global economy. Students are free to choose from electives in areas such as psychology, sociology, English and communication. An international component is included, along with various human resource management topics. The unique composition of the general Business Administration degree serves to broaden students horizons and provides an ideal combination of skills and knowledge to function effectively in a wide variety of business and not-for-profit arenas. An emphasis is placed on conceptual skills, interpersonal skills, and general management skills. This concentration is ideal for the student who wishes to acquire skills for the world of business and management through an exploration of society and culture. Students completing this program see the global picture and possess the skills to effectively manage and lead.
