The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum
Delaware Tech's accredited associate degree program in Marketing prepares graduates to work in a variety of entry-level marketing positions in different types of organizational settings. In addition to specific areas of marketing such as advertising, e-marketing, sales and sales management, retailing, and graphic design, students will gain broad-based knowledge of support areas such as accounting, law, computer technology, and communications. Graduates are prepared to continue their education at the bachelor's degree level. Goldey-Beacom's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management offers business administration majors the opportunity to gain the knowledge and expertise necessary to manage the flow, promotion, and distribution of goods and services in a variety of business settings. The aim of the concentration is to integrate concrete market planning strategies with practical sales and marketing skills. When combined with the communications, quantitative, and interpersonal skills developed in the liberal arts and business administration concentration, this curriculum prepares students to assume careers in professional sales and marketing.
