Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum
Delaware Tech's Surgical Technology degree prepares students to work in the fascinating world of the operating room under the supervision of a surgeon - handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. They anticipate the needs of the surgical team and monitor the environment to maximize patient safety. Delaware Tech offers the only associate degree program in Delaware for surgical technologists, and graduates will be sought by hospitals and outpatient surgical centers throughout the state and the region. If you're able to work well under pressure with speed, accuracy, and concentration, surgical technology may be for you. Wilmington University's bachelor's degree completion program in Health Sciences is for Allied Health practitioners who have earned an associate degree with an Allied Health concentration. The program enables practitioners to transfer up to 75 credits from their initial education. The goal of the program is to provide expert practitioners in the Allied Health field with the knowledge and skill needed to teach the next generation of Allied Health practitioners or to advance in their careers with a focus in administration.
